Henry Higgins

Henry Higgins came to us in such poor condition with his ears infected, teeth rotten and falling out, grade 4/6 heart murmur, degenerative valve disease and a collapsed trachea. We  believe he must have been abused as he sometimes gets scared of hands or faces near his face.

At first, we didn’t know if Henry would make it because he crashed after surgery, but our boy is a survivor! After going to a foster, he started collapsing and we feared that he would be hospice, but he is small and mighty. He made it through the odds and still has some spring in his steps.

Once Henry trusts you, he will love you more than anything! He has the cutest little sprint and his tail always wags when he sees you. Our boy is a little miracle and loves to eat, sleep, be next to you and go on any adventure with you!

Henry is potty trained as long as you take him outside frequently and would do best in a home with a yard. He can be dog selective, but with time can learn to get along with dogs as long as they are not rambunctious and will step all over him. The first time we ever saw Henry run was chasing a cat and has a love hate relationship with them. Our senior codge loves to be picked up and carried, but can do steps once he gains some courage and wants to follow wherever you go!
