Debbie Darling

Debbie Darling is an avid adventurer. She enjoys car rides, taking trips to the store and restaurants. She loves long walks and does well staying on the sidewalk, while using the edge of the grass for guidance.

Debbie is seeking a home without any other pets or a very submissive dog. Due to her recent vision loss, she tends to get defensive around other dogs out of fear. Also, a family without rambunctious small children, since her preference is being around adults and teens.

Despite not having sight, She enjoys sunbathing in the yard. But her new home doesn’t need to have a yard, as long as she can get long walks every day. Her favorite playtime is chewing on a yak bone, Nylabone, sharing stuffed toys with you, and working on her puzzle treat toy!

When home alone, she stays in an office by herself. Background sounds comfort her. She likes music, a podcast, or white noise. Debbie does not like to stay in a crate or pen. She likes to get on top of furniture, so care should be taken to push in chairs to avoid potential jumping or falling injuries.

Debbie is working on her potty training and doing well, but her new family should be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a new home and environment. Routine and patience will help Debbie get potty trained.
